The Fortune 500 Business Blog Index, a much needed resource,  has launched -- just in time to add to the book! (Note: it's a wiki, so anyone can add updates to it.) Feedicon32x32_1 Microsoft has spoken and we're gonna have to follow. The orange button you see at the left is the new standard icon to indicate that an RSS or Web feed is available from a blog or Web site. Grab a version of the new icon here.

P.S. Microsoft's RSS team borrowed the icon from the more-than-happy-to-share-it Firefox folks.

It's gotta be a record. Read his first post here. Berners-Lee proposed the idea of the Web in 1989. Then tinkered quietly, releasing the first browser by Christmas Day 1990. Amazing to think it was only 15 years ago. I attended the 4th international WWW Conference in Boston in 1995; I've still got the mug!
